Instructions

  1. Finely chop the spinach. Optional: sauté for 1–2 minutes to reduce moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, spinach, white cheddar, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, onion powder, and optional mustard or mayo until just combined.
  3. Divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat, lightly oil, and cook patties 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  5. Toast burger buns if desired, assemble with toppings and serve.

Notes
