Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh is best!)
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or lemon wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Pat dry the salmon fillets with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, melted butter, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush or spoon the glaze evenly over each salmon fillet, making sure they’re well coated.
- Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a lightly caramelized top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or lemon wedges before serving.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad. For added spice, try a dash of cayenne or red pepper flakes.
