- 1 pound breakfast sausage (spicy or mild)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained)
- 1 ½ cups Bisquick (or baking mix)
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick spray.
- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking into crumbles. Drain and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese and drained Rotel until well combined.
- Stir in the sausage until evenly mixed.
- Add Bisquick and cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly (use hands if needed).
- Form mixture into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
You can customize these sausage balls with different cheese types or sausages. They freeze well and reheat easily in the oven or microwave.
