- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups filtered water
Instructions
- In a large glass or shaker bottle, combine the water, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice.
- Add in the cayenne pepper, ground ginger, and cinnamon.
- Stir well until the mixture is evenly combined.
- If using chia seeds, stir them in and let the drink sit for 5–10 minutes to allow them to expand.
- Drink the full mixture first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, or before your heaviest meal of the day.
- Optional: Blend with ice and a splash of stevia for a chilled and lightly sweet version.
Notes
Consistency is key for best results. Adjust cayenne for spice tolerance, and consider using cucumber water instead of lemon juice if sensitive to acidity.
