Instructions
- Slice the cucumbers and red onion thinly. Cut tomatoes into wedges or thick slices.
- In a large bowl, whisk together vinegar, water, olive oil, sugar (if using), salt, pepper, and garlic powder until combined.
- Add cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes to the bowl and gently toss until coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For best flavor, marinate 2–4 hours or overnight.
- Stir before serving and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Use seedless cucumbers like English or Persian for best texture. Customize with cheese, avocado, or other veggies. Best enjoyed within 2–3 days and not suitable for freezing.
