Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, chopped (or bacon bits)
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons green onions, finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional garnish: extra chopped green onions, jalapeños, shredded cheese, or bacon
Instructions
- Let cream cheese sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes to soften.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
- Fold in bacon, jalapeños, red bell pepper, and green onions. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add extra jalapeños for more heat, if desired.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately if short on time.
- Garnish with desired toppings before serving.

Notes
Customize the heat level by adjusting jalapeños. Add corn or taco seasoning for variations. Stir in sour cream to turn it into a dip.
