Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe (but firm) bananas
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (or melted butter)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: a pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds—about ⅛ inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
- Lightly brush both sides of the banana slices with coconut oil. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix over them, flip and repeat.
- Place the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Set air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook for 8–10 minutes, checking around the 7-minute mark.
- Remove and let cool completely to crisp up.
Notes
Use ripe but firm bananas for best texture. Slice evenly and avoid overlapping in the air fryer to ensure even crispiness.
