- 1 (16 oz) container of sour cream
- 1 (10 oz) can of Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet of taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
- 2–3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Drain the Rotel to remove excess liquid.
- In a medium bowl, mix sour cream and taco seasoning until smooth.
- Stir in the drained Rotel, shredded cheddar cheese, and bacon (if using).
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
- Top with chopped green onions before serving with chips or dippers of choice.
Notes
For extra kick, add jalapeños or pepper jack cheese. Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
