Instructions

  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  4. Mix in the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Stir until just combined—don’t overmix!
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips (and any extras like nuts).
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top if you’d like!
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
