- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (whole milk preferred)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Place them in the baking dish, and drizzle with olive oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Spoon the ricotta mixture evenly over each chicken breast and spread gently.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
Notes
Add spinach, red pepper flakes, or swap cheeses for a twist. Serve with pasta, salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
