Amish Peanut Butter Cream Pie

Amish Peanut Butter Cream Pie is the ultimate comfort dessert—creamy, dreamy, and packed with sweet peanut buttery goodness! Inspired by traditional Amish kitchens, this no-bake pie is a classic that’s simple to make and impossible to resist. With a rich, velvety peanut butter filling nestled inside a buttery graham cracker crust, and topped with fluffy whipped cream and a sprinkle of peanut butter crumbs, it’s pure magic in every bite.

  • Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 generous slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • Extra whipped topping (optional)
  • Extra peanut butter crumbs (set some aside from above)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together peanut butter and powdered sugar until crumbly. Use a fork to break up large pieces. Set aside about 1/4 cup for topping.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of the peanut butter crumbs over the chilled crust. Pour in the peanut butter filling and spread evenly with a spatula. Add a final layer of whipped topping, if using. Sprinkle the reserved peanut butter crumbs on top.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set. Overnight is even better for perfect slices.

Notes

Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture, or swap the crust for an Oreo base for a chocolate twist. This pie can be frozen for up to 2 months and still tastes amazing after thawing. Make it ahead for an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert.
